The Qld Variety Bash entrants gather in St George - Overnight at the Showgrounds and leaves on Monday 4th August to first stop Brewarrina NSW.
The Variety Bash is coming to town in early August – and it’s going to bring plenty of colour and activity to St George!
A total of 344 participants and officials, along with 125 wonderfully decorated vehicles, will be converging in St George from 2 August as part of their journey to Port Macquarie in NSW.
The big day for St George is Sunday 3 August, with registration and scrutineering taking place at the St George Showgrounds throughout the day.
Then, on Monday 4 August at 7,45am, the official start line will be held – also at the Showgrounds. This will be a great chance for locals and visitors to see the colourful convoy roll out.
Please note that members of the public will need to watch from outside the Showgrounds. The fleet will hit the road by 8am, heading along the Carnarvon Highway and across the bridge.
This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase our region’s hospitality and make participants feel welcome while they’re in town – whether it’s through a friendly wave, or just a good old-fashioned chat.
